Kids' Pictures...

We finally decided to go get the kids pictures taken, by what you might call a Semi-professional (Wal-mart). They turned out alright, it just seems like every time you go there, they are so grouchy and have no patients with little kids. They take a picture and ask "Is that one good?" I have to pipe up and say, "I know he can smile, can we try it again?" They just give you that look like, I guess. Brax was doing really well, but Riann didn't really want to be there. We tried many times to get a good picture that had both of them in it, so the lady would put a rubber duckie on her head and then sneeze to make the duck fall off her head and hopefully they would smile. It worked the first time and then she would put it up there and Riann decided that she wanted to be the one that sneezed instead of the one that smiled, so when we told her to smile and not sneeze she got mad at us and did not smile for another picture. We had to bribe her with candy to get a decent smile out of her. (Notice the one of them together) She usually does pretty good, but that day she wanted nothing to do with pictures, so the ones we have are the best that she would do!! I think they are pretty cute. Way to go kiddos!!

Riann's Rodeo...

On Saturday, Dustin's dad asked if we could come out and let Riann ride a horse since she has never done it by herself, so we agreed. I took my camera and took a few pictures of Dustin and Brax on their horse and then I took a picture of Riann. The flash did not go off with Dustin and Brax so no worries, I turned to take one of Riann and the flash went off. You guessed it, her horse freaked out and almost bucked her off. I was holding onto the reins and the horse jerked back and burnt my fingers, so I let go and the horse wouldn't stop. Finally it stopped and Riann decided she wanted to get off. Poor girl, her first riding by herself was not the best, so who knows if she will ever do it again. I think it scared me more than it did her. So that's why there is only one picture of her!! Way to go Ri :)

Brax's First Horseback Ride...

This was little Braxer's first time ever being on a horse. Riann was about 9 months when she first rode and that is about the age he is. He was a little unsure of it at first, but the more we rode around, the more he enjoyed it. He looked so cute, I guess now we need to get him some boots and wranglers and he will fit the part!! Hold on Brax...!
